TSgt Michael Finn -
To the kind men and woman
involved in C.H.O.M.P - I would like to say thank you for
the 2nd package I have received from you all. This box was full of
great stuff just like the last. I got to admit, I hate to complain
or sound ungreatful, but the food here is horrible 5 out of 7
nights a week. I will enjoy eating the food you have sent for
lunch today. You guys and gals are awesome. Thank you for your
kindness and your time. You are awesome. This is a short tour for
My self and both Sra Emelander and Ellis. We will be home shortly
after the new year. Thank you for your kindness.

To All C.H.O.M.P. Personnel,
I just wanted to send my sincerest appreciation for the care
package that you sent to our unit in Afghanistan. Knowing that
people back home are supporting our endeavors is always an
enormous morale boost. Thankfully, 2-2 IN at FOB Andar is
scheduled to head back home in the next two weeks. Everyone here
is very eager to reunite with their loved ones. Hopefully this
past year has been kind to all of you and all is well at WMU.
Again, I am truly grateful for the package and good wishes that
you sent my way, and you have my best wishes and thanks for all
that you do. Take care!
P.S. A Soldier who was a former Bronco, and a
ROTC classmate of mine, recently made the ultimate sacrifice while
serving in Afghanistan. As a result, several members of our class
are attempting to get a scholarship started in his name, in order
to honor what he has done for his country. If anyone is
interested in contributing to the cause, please contact Cris
Obreiter at WMU's ROTC facility. Thank you and God bless!
Respectfully,
Austin Tazzia
